BKA News

2018.10.19: The December 2nd Korean cooking class is sold out! We have opened up a wait list - sign up through the event on the event page. If we have any cancellations, we will start moving people off the wait list in the order they signed up (regardless of membership status).

2018.10.19: 4 days until "Re: Home" at BAAFF! Free/pay what you want at the door, but if you know you're going, our advice is to pre-register via the BAAFF website (their screenings tend to sell out).

A BKA member is organizing a dinner with Glenn and Julia Morey, directors of "Side By Side: Out of a Korean Orphanage" the Sunday night before at Seoul Soulongtang (Allston) at 6pm.

Also... BAAFF started yesterday! The film we're co-presenting is one of many films in the lineup this year.

2018.10.7: BKA is excited to announce that it will be co-presenting at the Boston Asian American Film Festival (BAAFF) this year!  We are thrilled to be co-presenting the Korean Adoption-themed shorts lineup "Re: Home" on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 7pm at the Pao Center in Chinatown.  This will include Glenn and Julia Morey's "Side by Side: Out of a South Korean Orphanage," Eric Elizaga's "The Beach House," Matthew Kaundart's "Dear Mother," and Mina Fitzpatrick's "A Letter for Sang Ah".  For more information, check out the BAAFF webpage.
